How many porta potties for a backyard party?
A backyard party needs 1 standard unit per 50 guests for up to 4 hours. A 60-guest graduation party needs 2 units. Add 1 unit if alcohol is served and 1 more if the party runs past 4 hours. Your house bathroom does not count. Septic and small sewer lines clog fast.

When do you deliver and pick up for a weekend party?
For a Saturday or Sunday party, we deliver Friday and pick up Monday, and you pay one event price, not three days. Saturday morning delivery is possible when booked early in the week. The unit is ready before guests arrive and gone the next business day.
Tell us the party start time. If the truck must arrive Saturday, we schedule it at least 3 hours before guests.

Where should the unit go at my house?
Put the unit on the driveway or a firm, level patch of yard within 25 feet of the street, away from windows and the food table. The unit needs about 4 by 4 feet. Gates must be at least 48 inches wide if the unit goes into the backyard.
- On the street? A City of Petaluma encroachment permit is required in Petaluma.
- HOA? Ask whether units may be visible from the street.
- Rainy season? Use the driveway instead of the lawn.
Can I rent a unit while my bathroom is being remodeled?
A household can rent a standard or flushing unit for the 1 to 4 weeks a bathroom remodel takes. Rentals over 7 days include weekly service. A flushing unit with a sink is the comfortable choice when the family uses it, not just the crew.
Rentals that run past 28 days move to monthly billing automatically.
How much is a porta potty for a party?
A standard unit for a weekend party typically runs $185–$275 including delivery and pickup. A flushing unit with a sink runs about $275–$395.
Can I get a unit for just one day?
One-day rentals are priced as one event. For weekend parties we still drop Friday and pick up Monday at the same price.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
No one needs to be home if the spot is marked and the gate is open. Leave a contact number for the driver.
Will it smell?
A freshly serviced unit with blue deodorizer has little odor for a one-day party. Place it in shade and downwind of the food.
Can I cancel if it rains?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before delivery. Inside 48 hours a 50% charge applies.
